Well, that was rude; Cross it out; CALM marketing

👋 Hey there, Mike here.

I hope your weekend was as good as mine. Each year, I'm fortunate enough to spend a long weekend with friends away from the chaos of two young children. This year, I went to Brussels and Ghent, which was fabulous. It was raining, but it was great either way.

1 short story that makes you think.

Well, that was rude. We were on the coach to Charleroi airport from Brussels Midi station only yesterday. It was a busy bus, and we were the last few getting on it.

Someone got on and sat in the back row by the window, with a spare seat next to him. A couple also got on and asked if he would mind swapping seats so they could sit together for the one-hour journey.

No, you're OK, go away. He then fell asleep and snored the whole way to the airport (we were the seat in front of him).

He could have swapped seats and made the couple happy, but he chose not to. The couple said, "Well, that was rude" and they were noticeably annoyed all the way.

Think: Would you have swapped seats? I like to live by the phrase "pay it forward." Sure, I wouldn't have immediately gotten a return on the nice deed of swapping seats, but I think the couple would have paid it forward, so I'd have swapped.

Sharing examples of copywriting helps when you start to write content that coverts or persuades. I like this one because I instantly know it's about focus and what I'll avoid by using the product.

I liked this because it has a lot of resources on a page and the option to purchase a book, too.
