"The Weekend That Didn’t Stop"
This weekend didn’t exactly go to plan — it launched straight into chaos and ended with a flourish.

Friday was an inset day, so both kids were home. We made the most of it: theme park trip during the day, then dinner with an old school friend in the evening. The kids, naturally, didn’t eat much at the restaurant… only to declare they were “starving” five minutes into the drive home.

They stayed up late that night. Then stayed up even later on Saturday — we were celebrating my dad’s 80th with a big family gathering. It was lovely, but loud. And somehow, despite two late nights in a row, Sunday didn’t bring a lie-in. The kids were up early, again. The weekend never really stopped.

But in the middle of all the noise and the sleep deprivation, something unexpected happened.

A small sign that what I’ve been building — this site, this newsletter, the content I’ve been quietly putting out into the world — is starting to connect. It wasn’t a flashy moment. More like a quiet nudge. But it was enough to remind me: the effort is working.

So much of what we do — whether in business or content creation — happens in the background. It’s easy to lose sight of progress when you’re in the thick of family life, deadlines, and distractions. But momentum doesn’t always come with fanfare. Sometimes it arrives as a whisper that says, “keep going.”

Think: Are you overlooking signs of progress because they’re not loud or dramatic? Or are you paying attention to the subtle moments that quietly validate you’re on the right track?

2/ Lego (Again)

Lego is back again - I'm not sure if I love or hate this one.
