Networking. I've been in Manila this week at a WordPress conference. The sheer volume of people (2k+) going to events like this is impressive (and we're not even talking about the Web Summit scale).

Tickets are very affordable, too (usually around $100 for the flagship events). If you talk to everyone, that's $0.05 per "lead".

But it only takes that one connection, that one re-connection, that could change the trajectory of your business or even your life.

It's a little-known fact, but one of my software products was acquired on the back of sponsoring an event.
